Plants up to 35 cm tall Bulb ovate-ovoid, c. 1 cm broad; outer coats greyish-brown, coriaceous with parallel veins. Leaves 2-3, 0.5 to 1 mm broad, filiform, fistular; leaf bases pubescent. Spathe persistent Umbels with laxly arranged flowers, 2-3 cm across Pedicels filiform, 1-1.5 cm long. Tepals white, sometimes pinkish, lanceolate, 3-4 mm long, obtuse, veins dark green. Filaments about 5/6 the length of the tepals, entire, linear, inner slightly broader, connate at the base. Style as long as the ovary, stigma capitate

Distribution: Afghanistan and Pakistan.
It grows in dry rocky, exposed places and has been collected from the north-west regions of Pakistan.
