Hedysarum moniliferum  Linn. 
Prostrate, much branched, branches pilose, hairs long and spreading. Stipules 3-8 mm long, scarious. Leaf unifoliolate, petiole c. 4-8 mm long, petiolules very short, stipels minute filiform. Leaflets 4-25 mm long, 4-15 mm broad, oblong-elliptic, rounded and mucronate at the apex, glabrous above, slightly hairy on the nerves below. Inflorescence 4-10-flowered short axillary raceme. Pedicel c. 1 mm long. Calyx 2.5-3.5 mm long, pilose, teeth narrow, acute. Pod 1.2-2.5 cm long, moniliform, joints 4-8, turgid, subglobose, finely downy with minute hooked hairs.
