Plants c. 20 cm tall, shrubby with persistent leaf bases. Leaves mostly basal, petiolate, c. 8 cm long; pinnae 5-6 pairs, 3-4 mm long; ultimate segments linear. Umbels lateral, usually I-radiate. Rays up to 20 cm long. Involucel of 4-5 pubescent bractlets. Pedicels pubescent. Petals yellowish-white, outer deeply bilobed. Ovary densely white pubescent. Styles slender, 2-3 mm long.
Type: Pakistan, Chitral, Khot An, N. of Mastuj, 18000 ft., Stainton 2879 (W).
Distribution: W. Pakistan, Afghanistan.
