Plants perennial. Leaves petiolate, 2-4-pinnate; segments linear to ovate. Involucre and involucel of linear bracts and bractlets. Calyx teeth prominent. Petals white. Fruit oblong to suborbicular; dorsal and intermediate ridges thin; lateral winged, tumid; wing thin between the thickened margin and the seed; furrows 1-vittate; vittae large, occupying the whole interval; commissure 2-vittate. Inner seed face plane.
A genus of 3 or 4 species extending from the Middle East to Afghanistan and W. Pakistan.
